Fran Kritz

Fran Kritz is a Washington, DC-based freelance writer specializing in consumer health policy stories. She writes frequently for NPR.org, Kaiser Health News and the Washington Post. She was a staff reporter for Forbes Magazine and U.S. News and World Report. She also previously served as the senior editor of NewPublishHealth, a public health blog hosted by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Fran has a bachelors in economics from Touro College and a master’s in economic history from the London School of Economics. She has also completed coursework at Columbia University.
